  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Mods, can a user download my rar (with my name in it) and copy my previews (handpicked, not random) to just mirror (actually steal) my post? Like here: http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=549769

    I hope not, because this guy just runs off with my work. If somebody posts a mirror it's usually somebody that rarred it himself and made his own screenshots but was too late to make his own thread. This guy just saw that I had so far only uploaded it on Hotfile, so he just takes my work and posts it in my thread. For what it's worth, asab Pm'ed me: "imo you should report him for blantently remoting your file (no way he uploaded it himself, its still your rar lol) and rehosting your caps." So I'm not the only one with this opinion.
