    I used to make fun of the whole idea that no one could recognize Superman with glasses on, but Michael is almost unrecognizable with hair and glasses. Lucky guy. Lex gets all the hot chicks.

    Because it was unrated by the mpaa and not very many theaters will touch an unrated movie. It did open in something like 60 theaters but was pulled because most of the them were afraid of getting fined for showing it, or had to pay for extra security to check id's at the doors of the screening rooms.

    The directors original intent was to release it straight to dvd, hence the no rating, but the movie company decided to take a chance. From my understanding the movie would have originally gotten a mpaa rating of nc-17 for the blood and gore had it actually been rated.
