Yes. It's 3 miles to get there. Not a long drive.

 

Is that easier on your body? I'd stick with 2 days off!

But it would cost you more if you would work 6 nights in stead of 5, or do you get compensation for it?

 

My body needs 2 nights off, but I'm losing money with their new system. They will not give me 38-40 hours in 5 nights.

 

No. The 6th night would make up for the money I'm losing due to the shorter hours. So I'd make the same in 6 nights in what I used to make in 5 nights.

 

2.75 miles east on 8 Mile Rd., and a right turn then a quick left turn and I'm there.

 

that sucks. I don't understand how all the work will get done with the holidays coming up ... isn't it really busy?

It will get busy this week, and very busy for a few weeks after that. But they've hired a lot of kids. They make less money and are cheaper to schedule than I am.

hard choice pm. there is better with 2 days leave in a week.. otherwise you could just as well work 7 days a week. and you'll burn out twice as fast. on the other hand, in the end you won't make any more money working 6 days since the expenses to get to and from work increases!

it seems that they are asking ... but they are really not - unless you want a pay cut.

 

It is one of the sleaziest business moves ever put on me.
