Personally, I would think a premium membership to FileSonic would be more useful since it's gaining widespread use and the fact that Megaupload is already fairly easy on free users. I don't see much benefit in a Megaupload account.

I can't use FS or HF. It gives me the countdown and then tells me to cancel the previous download. There isn't any but i hit cancel anyway and it all starts again.

    Anyone have a problem similar?

I had a similar thing but they are now clear. I get the impression they are spreading the pain, by blocking certain countries at certain times to stop complete overload.

You can mark several files while pressing [Ctrl], then open the option dialog for any of the marked files: the delete action kills them all.
Unfortunately the page isn't refreshed so the files are still visible and then you can't edit any other files ...
    Still in beta ...
I recommend using the RSManager2, there you can delete, rename and move more easily.

I haven't been able to remote any files from Hf to RS since a few weeks.
Guess RS is blocking HF-remote servers, so i use Netload as a bridge.
Maybe try rs2rs.com, but it's not free

It's a shame that so many users still have problems with FS.
But instead of investing some money in bandwidth or servers they spend it to ridiculous weekend payouts.

And obviously they spend more and more money to "buy" smaller boards. I recently saw that two other boards now require a FS-mirror. I'm sure that FS is paying part of the server bill.
Oron bought f-ophilia, FS is now "buying" some other boards, maybe that's the future of posting ...

I have had an FS Premium account for a while now and I still fight extreme inconsistency. Sometimes I can download a file first try and it takes just a few minutes, other times I can try multiple times and the shortest download time is in the hours. It's frustrating at best! I also have a Premium account on HF and am impressed at the service. I know I can download all files consistantly in just a few minutes each.

Filesonic bugs have been sorted although the British thing sucks for Limeys, guys should always throw up a HF mirror imho, but then Hf does nto pay as much whish is why most don't

Filesonic have temporary bugs caused by server changes, but is very promising
filehost.Download speed depend to location,Filesonic server is in Europe and Hotfile in US...for me Filesonic download/upload is 4 times faster than Hotfile(i'm in Europe).
Try JDownloader with FS Premium, work great.

For me in the USA, since the change from SM to FS, I have noticed improvements. But, there still is a lot of spy-ware crap.

I usually get 2 - 8 spyware notices when I get online or d/l stuff. Anytime FS is involved, the low side jumps into the double-digits (once, I have 42 notices :( )

I have a premium file sonic account and as of this past weekend there's been a huge issue with download speeds. On some downloads the speed is 1-2 MB a second and on other downloads it's as slow as 30KB a second. That is unacceptable for a PAID membership. While this may never happen here, I'd really wish deposit files became an option for file hosts; it's a lot better than filesonic and is at least as good as hotfile is.

I have no problems with filesonic at all. At last they have much better options for uploaders, and every day they work on their service to be better.
Hotfile for free users is death, speed is limited to 128 kb... What you say on that? And don't pay for all countries...

which is why you don't use it

    ;)

Its really easy to mirror your files with HF, the reason people don't is money not speed lol

I wish people would stop using Filesonic. After all the issues of free downloading, they're now experiencing major difficulties with certain ISPs in the UK. Feckin useless!
