I hate photoshoots like this. If you're going to do charity, you don't need to publicize it.

I am not one of Miss Kardashians Fan boys, but anyone who takes time out to give some poorly kids a little bit of happiness get a from me. Photo shoot or no photo shoot..

 

There's a difference between making sick kids happy and making sick kids happy with the idea of promoting yourself.

Kim is doing this to promote herself.

My point is she's exploiting the kids to proclaim to the world HEY LOOK I DO CHARITY WORK - completely missing the point why you do charity work in the first place.

I mean, she brought a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER with her. This aren't paparazzi shots, these are posed pictures. It's disingenuous and false. She wants to make sick kids happy? Fine. Do it without having to tell the world what a great person you are.

 

I agree. If the Kardashians didn't love the camera so fucking much, it would add credibility to this cause. She could use an event like this to NOT have herself photographed.

And BTW, Kindergarten Cop is underrated.

 

Not for me, I fucking love the movie, have seen it heaps. Crisp is one of my heroes

 

At least she's doing something to help others and photo op or not that's not a bad thing.

 

Who gives a shit about that, if the results of an action are positive for everyone who's involved??
cause that's what i call a win-win-win situation:

• Happy Kids.
• Kim becomes a little more popular.
• Fans like me get more pictures of her to look at.

1. Do these kids actually even know who she is?
2. If they do, who left them alone with the porno?

I'm English, so maybe I'm missing how famous she is in America or something but, it doesnt really seem like the sort of person who should be making these kind of visits.

 

1. if they know her, they're lucky, cause meeting a celebrity when you're a kid feels kinda awesome.. and yes, she is one! no one can deny her immense popularity, see ==>

if they don't know her, so what? they get a visit from a woman who brings them presents. i'd be happy if that would've happened to me as a kid..

Kim got a reality show, line of perfume and skincareproducts, did some acting, modeling, is author of a book, is now recording songs.. and makes millions and millions doing so. she's pretty much her own brand, "successful" is an understatement, so why shouldn't she "be the sort of person who should be making these kind of visits"?!

 

She's posing with some teens who obviously know who she is, but there's a pic of her with a young girl who obviously has some physical and developmental issues and has no IDEA who the hell she is. That's where my exploitative slant on this comes in.

I think part of my rage in this stems from the whole Brett Favre/kid with brain cancer garbage from a few weeks ago. Since you're English, you may not know who Favre is, so imagine David Beckham with zero class, on the downside of his career, with a lot of controversy.

ESPN showed pictures of him visiting a kid with terminal brain cancer and stressed that Brett "didn't want to publicize it". Well, if Brett didn't want to publicize it, he wouldn't have had pictures taken, now, would he?

Sorry. I just get really upset when kids get exploited, which I feel is going on here. I like Kim as a celebrity construct, but her personality leaves something to be desired.

 

Because she's famous for being famous. Besides being good looking and being Ray J's personal urinal, she hasn't exactly done a lot of things worthwhile in the scope of celebrity, has she?

 

if i was one of those kids, i'd ask for some Kim booty in my face
