What's Up With Rapidshare? + New File Hosts

Yes affiliate program is important to have people posting with other host than Filesonic, its useless to allow some good host with great speed and connectivity if they dont have decent affiliate prog as only very few people would use it to upload files.
Thats the case here , there is a way too big difference between Filesonic and other allowed host. Results on everyone posting FS files, quite a lot post hotfile (in fact not many are posting both FS+HF , but some just post HF mirrors when a video is already posted with FS) , very few megaupload, and other host are just unsignificative.

This is the reason why I do care about affiliate prog, I dont upload at all in any forum, Im just a downloader , its great that you care more about us than posters , allowing a great host with good download service dont mean posters will use it , unfortunatly they just pick those which pay well.
If phun only allowed free host like in some forums I know, people will just left the forum and wont post anymore, just be realistic, the main point for many posters in forums is to earn money, I have no problem with that , but just need to allow few host which are equal to Filesonic if we want to have alternative links.

Filesonic isnt a good host if we only care about the download service, I have lifetime premium (and for megaupload as well) and downloading with FS is still tough, dl speed is really slow in general, only at some moment of the day I have a decent speed, dl often stoppped at about 90% so I have to re DL the file again (thats really painfull for big files).I used it in several country in europe at result is the same.
I cant even imagine how painfull it could be for a free user to use FS , on downloaders side, I really think FS isnt a good host at all but unfortunatly, its the most used one by posters.

Anyway, I only hope to see poster using other host than FS as much as possible, and for this we need a decent affiliate prog.

 

I have been a Rapidshare customer for years, but after dealing with <DELETED FILE> on 90% of my download attempts, I decided to leave RapidFUCK behind and changed to Megaupload.

 

Is anyone having problems accessing the filesonic website in the US?

 

I've read the whole thread in the link above and I simply can't beleive!!! I mean, people having three, four, even TEN accounts...

I've got only one on HF and one on FS and that's it... and if my HF account gets banned I know whose fault it is

 

I've never posted content to earn money anywhere. I post mostly foot stuff at saff and the pad and have used megaupload and megaporn. Most times when I post at phun the post disappears for whatever reason so I don't bother posting here anymore.

It seems all the big hosters eventually collapse due to greed from uploaders, and greed from owners. The owners control all the cash and I don't mind seeing greedy uploaders getting burned for cash, I am amused by it, but as I said, I would never try to make money from a forum. As much as these uploaders have ruined forums with incessant needless reposts, I would love to see them all get burned for cash and have their house of cards collapse around them.

I earn money the old fashioned way, I work for it.​

Dont know if its a coincidence or not , but filesonic is deleting lot of files these days, maybe they fear having same law issue as Hotfile.
Would be great if they do delete some account too, it will solve this cash spam issue on forum (at least a little bit but still appreciable)

I just got it but for some reason i always have to login at fileserve i don't stay logged in like i do with the others.
Any Help.

 

filesonic is really shitty these days. downloading at 50kb a sec is a pain in the ass. why not allow fileserve? even free downloaders like me are downloading at 500kb a sec.

 

Hotfile banned my Acc now 200GB of nice Porn deleted .Fuck them!

 

They got my main one today - which means they're likely going to take out my other ones in a few days.

I'm going to take a break in using Hotfile and try using them again in a month. But looks like it's the Rapidshare fiasco all over again. :no:

 

megaupload and megaporn are working fine

FS is overloaded, all HF will be gone in 2 weeks, nobody will get paid, the owner will run with all the money, same thing will happen with FS, that will be a massacre as everybody left their old hosts and went to them, it will be a riot hearing the screaming

the megas are fine if you want to get the porn to the people without making $0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 per download, which seems as much a waste of time as updating your facebook status

 

Yes Fileserve is a very good host and should be given a chance!!

It sure would be nice if the moguls at FS and FS would use this forum to explain their suations rather than make us rant and rave about their ups and downs. As a downloader in the +5 time zone my experiences with FS have been all over the place. For example, from last Sunday through yesterday at about 4PM download speed was about 30KB/s....then all of a sudden from about 4PM until 5PM I was able to get quite a few clips I'd passed earlier because the download speed jumped to an average of 1.5MB/s, then at about 5PM things returned to the earlier 30KB/s. During the same period (Sunday through yesterday evening, HF ran consistantly at around 1MB/s and MU ran at about 500KB/s depending on file size. I'd sure like to know if other downloaders are experiencing the same difficulties as shared frustration is easier to deal with.

 

i have premium accounts with MU, HF, FS and Fileserve. The only one i have speed and connection problems with is FS.

I thougt it sucked as a free user so i bought myself a premium and yes its better but it still sucks compared with the others.

I havent taken any notes which time the problems accurs since it varies so much, some times the connection times out and you have start over, some times the speed is excellent (not as good as HF/Fileserve) and some times it just sucks at 30-50KB/S.

When i look for downloads i usually on use the FS-links when i cant find any other links.

Hopefully it will get better when all the banned HF-users are done moving their files to FS.

 

Same here, every host is turning into shit.

 

Just came here to post that a Fileshare premium account is the worst $9 I've spent in a while, its just as bad as a free account so avoid it

 

Just to be clear, you mean Filesonic? or do you mean Fileserve (tho, fileserve is $9.99 per month).
