    Make payments to Line of Credit, after it's payed off make the same amount to savings. Since you're used to making that payment amount you won't miss the cash. :tup:

    I'm already making payments on my line of credit bama. I'm going to make accellerated payments. I'm just thinking if I should make additional large payments or make the half payments thenh put the rest in tax free savings accounts.

    Right, so instead of making chunk payments to pay it off quicker I would increase the monthly payment to whatever I could comfortably afford, then after you pay it off keep making that same amount to a savings...That way it's a monthly budgeted expense that you're used to making so you won't miss it and you'll be paying yourself for the future. That's what the financial experts that I've read say anyway.

    yeah but if I make large additional payments there bama I would save a lot more in interest in the long run. plus it would be paid off a LOT faster then if I just made larger payments.

    why is hayd ignoring yay? :confused:
