    sure in a perfect world. but legality has nothing to do with it if a person will do you physical harm. but i think it is perfectly reasonable that a woman in fear of an abusive partner will seek refuge someplace else. not that i know anymore about it then what has been posted here and for all i know she is taking a vacation in the south of france.

    How many times have you guys read or heard on the news that some batshit crazy guy killed his ex-wife or ex-girl friend, with the reason that if he can't have nobody else will. I know from my own experience with my sister's ex-husband, that some guys will not go away without that person having to hid.
    They will hunt them down until someone else gets it through their thick head. I had to explain it to him up close and personal. I also told him that if he shoots me, he had better kill me or I will him. I have not heard from him ever since.
