our highest hill is like 300 meters hayd i live in the area of it but it's still about 40km to it think

Well cant the central government give them money?

 

The Federal Government can give money to the states, but not all the states have built good protection with the money. Most of the money for protection comes from each state the river touches.

 

Cant they....check them to see if it complies with the standards?

Even the states with good protection have seen the river go over the walls this year. That's how hight the flood is!

 

It's a good question. I'd have to investigate each state the river touches to find out.

 

There's a pot on the road near my house...that they fixed 4 times in a month...cause everytime it rained it was uncovered!!!They said they didnt have the right equipment to fix it properly so they just covered it...and everytime it rained the water uncovered it!

 

I understand that...but id say its not that bad where the walls were!
