However she's hot here.

really? i doubt that.. i've never seen her with black hair before, and i know younger pics of her, she has always been blonde imho..

she is perfect as a blond.. .she is beyond perfect as a brunette.

 

But anytime you have seen her with blond hair, what color were her roots? Never blond. Look at any picture of her when she was younger or now, for that matter, and what color roots do you see and obviously so? Black or dark brown. I've read in several places when doing a search before with google that her natural hair color was black, couple of spots said dark brown, same difference almost. Almost any blond haired girl, if she has darker roots, THAT is her natural hair color. There are some cases where a girl might have been blond, dyed her hair down to the roots darker, and then went back to blond but that is the exception and is not the case here. Alot of this is common sense, all you have to do is look at her photos from over the years.



Even when she was in The Poker House when she was 18...dark roots.

Phun's rules don't allow for under 16 pictures to be posted but her 8th grade photo is online and she barely has blond highlights, her hair is predominantly black or dark brown and there are no blond roots.

Point is, just because theinsider.com was wrong and x amount of sites online, doesn't mean I or others are not. In this case, the answer is literally at the "root" of the matter. She or her mother have been dying her hair blonde since she was young, which is not uncommon for young actors, as for many years, people often associate blond hair with beauty or success or appeal in that profession.

 

i think she looks better less made up. hair color doesn't matter. hot either way.

you made good points.. seems to be true! i think i just shat bricks cause i felt like it was self-evident that Jennifer Lawrence is naturally blonde! seems like i didn't pay enough attention to detail..
although i still doubt that her natural colour is pitch-black.. it seems to be dark blonde (or brunette)..

 

i prefer her blonde look btw.. it suits her better imho

 

It's a hard call...I was so use to seeing her as a blond and I liked the blond with the dark roots look on her but I also like the pics of her growing up in movies when her hair was darker and she had blond highlights AND I now think she looks quite fetching with the darker hair. lol Hey! Maybe in her next project, they can use CGI and give the viewer the choice of hair color? They could call it the JL Interactive Experience. Of course, that's going to up the cost of the dvd by a couple of bucks. lol
