It's a cop out, I know, but strangely there always seem to be? I did the same thing back with the Rihanna pics but was left uncertain because while a lot of real marks turned up in the leaked pics, not all of the marks in the leaked pics had counterparts in 'real' shots. I'm probably more certain that this is Blake than I was that Rihanna's were genuine, and we all know how that turned out. But then, what the hell do I know; it could go either way. Funnily, doubts were cast on the Rihanna shots because she blocked her face in certain pics but not the ones where she was showing anything

Being a cynic definitely doesn't make you wrong. But I believe your opinion on this is.

You say she isn't a movie star, but I never said she was. I simply said she was a household name, which she is. Television stars are celebrities, too. And there are plenty of movie stars who have used television to launch their careers. George Clooney, Jenna Fischer, Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, Jim Carey all come to mind. And Blake is on the same path.

In Erin's case, what do you mean there was no definitive proof? It was clearly her, first of all, and second, she sued over the video, and you can't remain anonymous while doing that, so she had to admit it was her. You can't argue both ways. You can't say that admitting it is her is evidence against one, and that denying it is evidence against another. There's no logic in that.

You act like she was a nobody before the tape, but that isn't true. She was a national personality for several years, and there's no link between her job at GMA and her nude tape. I suppose using that logic, then where is Robin Roberts' nude tape? She was also an ESPN personality hired to that program. Oh, how about Josh Elliot, an ESPN anchor who now reads the news for that same show? What's more likely: she's getting hired because we've seen her tits, or the people at GMA just happen to have a high opinion of ESPN personalities, seeing as they now have three on the roster?

Come on. There's cynical, and there's ignoring the facts.

 

A rep for "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively, 23, has said newly surfaced nude photos of the star are fake (was legal action threatened?) and she has never taken nude photos of herself. Lively has recently been linked to Leonardo DiCaprio, 36 (see which model he very recently broke up with).

If they aren't actually Blake though, she has no grounds to sue. You can't take legal action to prevent the circulation of photo's which aren't of you. In other words, to block their circulation, Blake first has to confirm they are of her. It's a catch 22 situation, but she can't eat her cake and keep it as well.

 

If the opportunity arose, I'd eat her cake...and I'd like to keep it.

Pics are close enough to be her, and different enough not to be. Her face looks better in the nudes than I've ever seen it, but it's only one pic and could just be down to expression, angle, resolution.

 

I wish there were mandatory trials to rule whether nudes are real or not. The public deserves to know!

 

Well yes I fully take your point that having fakes of you circulating is still damaging to your reputation but no crime has been committed. I suppose in a way it's related to defamation, but the best she can do is keep repeating that they aren't her, that's all.

To gain a legal foothold they must be her, to use your rape analogy, it's like someone raping a girl and then falsely claiming it was Blake; that wouldn't then give Blake the legal right to deny she was raped but still have the man charged for raping her; you can only do that if you actually were the girl that was raped, and admit that you were. You only ever have one choice: to say that a crime was committed against you, and then take legal action; or, deny that a crime was committed against you, and thereby lose the right to take legal action. She's trying to do elements of both, which is a contradiction!

 

Damn not again! How come these pictures always get released before a big movie. Didn't the same thing happen with Hudgens new pics before Sucker Punch. All they want to do is capitalize on the internet buzz to sell more tickets. If you think about it, it's the perfect demographic pre-pubescent teens going to see Green Lantern. It's a publicity stunt that can be debated for the next 500 pages but here's a fact, it's her because if it wasn't she wouldn't care. It's all about the GREEN Lantern and the money grubbing suits running the studios. Enjoy your 15 minutes Blake I know I am.

People claiming that these are fake, so you are saying that someone found a girl who looked amazingly like Blake Lively, and then convinced her to take nude shots of herself (with great attention to detail, mind you=, so that they could post these on the internet with no obvious financial gain at all?

Who would go through so much trouble just to annoy Blake?

Since no one is claiming that these photos are photoshopped, I'm naturally assuming that there is a girl out there who looks freakishly like Blake, and is willing to pose nude? Where is this girl?

And if this was a scheme, they also managed to make it look like Blake of 2008 instead of Blake of 2011, god knows why... If you are planning a set-up, why plan it to look like the photos were taken years ago?

Come on people. I know the modern age makes us question evertying, but who would organize such an elobarate scheme?

This is great for her. She could deny it while most people would believe they are real, and save her dignity, or whatever she is trying to save.

 

not really. i think she can say those pictures are fake, yet take legal action to ban them from being shown - based on defamation, i guess. saying those fake pictures are pictures of BL naked might have a negative impact on her public appearance... or something like that.

 

I agree and I believe it's her.

If she didn't have a movie coming out this wouldn't be news. At this point I'm not surprise at anything a young actress wouldn't do to keep their name out there in the public eye. This makes me think about the old FX show Dirt. They showed step by step how these things get, so called " leaked" to the media and how the actress would set herself up as the victim to get more famous then they were before the "leak". I still believe Dirt showed alittle bit to much of the "real" internal working of Hollywood and that's why it's off the air. After seeing both seasons of that show, it's diffcult for me to put any celebrity up on a pedestal and say, "He or she wouldn't do this or that" . They say one thing and do the exact opposite behind close doors.:2cent:

I wonder if Blake's pics are going come up on today's episode of TMZ? I guest I'll find out in 12 minutes.

 

I think it is her and just a great way for people to go watch The Green Lantern.

 

i think it's hard to guess here...because in some pics it's look like 100% her and some not...but anyway i don't think that there's a girl how look like blake in that way so i belive it's her.
