Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Same. I think there should be rule that if a thread is more than two days without a post, you can't comment in it unless it's to add more pix.

    If you're just posting to thank the guy on an older thread, don't bother. That's what the "Thanks!" button is for.

    Whether or not they come to the site every day is irrelevant. If a thread hasn't been posted in for a few days, it shouldn't be brought up again without pics (Boom says as he drags up an old thread, completely aware of the irony).

    But two weeks is better than nothing.

    i thought it was a week. anyway, why would you want to bump a thread older than a week? simply hitting the thanks button achieves the same thing as after a week a thread will have plenty of grateful replies.

    We have no probs if a thread gets replied to, given that it's within the 2 weeks. I can understand why there is frustration from people when they open a topic, thinking there will be new pics, but there's not, but we don't want to discourage people from posting if they want to. If it's a topic that is older than 2 weeks, then the general consensus, which is mentioned above and we agree with is that a click of the 'thanks' button is better than bumping something ancient.
