    I've been here 18 years. I've been ready to leave for quite some time, but I knew something like this situation would crop up sooner or later, which is why I stayed. Besides, it's fun here.

    At any rate, no, I have no immediate interest in moving to Phoenix. My niece and her life partner (I really do hate that term, it seems too clinical) will be seeing after my folks well-being. They're in very good hands. I need a whole new change of scenery.

    WOW! 18 years is a damn long time to spend in Vegas. And that's cool that you have family members to watch over your folks.

    I'm going to guess you're not going to move back to Chicago? After 18 years, your body is probably so used to the heat, going back East to the cold wouldn't be too favorable.

    You know where you should move to?! San Diego. Nice chill city and close enough to the Mexican border for any diversion you could want. Though San Diego has become a pretty expensive city to live in. :|
