While he has obviously taken it a bit far at this juncture, the guy did have a point. Whether or not you tried to be offensive, your joke was a racial dig. If, instead of the white penis quip, you'd made a joke about the size of a black man's welfare check, people would have been up in arms...even if you meant it entirely in good humor. I'm not sure what's blasted him so far out into left field at this stage, but you did open the door by making an inappropriate remark tied to racial stereotypes. Whoever you're jabbing, you really can't expect, in 2012, to make any sort of racially-biased slur and have everyone stay mum about it. Generally better off just finding humor somewhere else, however funny (or not) the remark may have been.

Like most of you have never over indulge in drink/drug and done something really questionable. The only difference between now and then is technology allows everyone to see everything. Would you want your kids, if you have them, seeing what YOU DID in college? Maybe seeing a picture of that porker you picked up at closing time, that "innocent" gay encounter with your dorm mate after an all night drinking binge, how about your mug shots from the time you went streaking, etc.
