It's not "official," it's just my opinion. I've brought the issue to the others to see what they think. Hopefull an official "official position" will be decided upon in short order. I'm pushing for a boost in age to 18. Pics of celebs with their kids is a different matter. Most are pretty innocuous.

 

Fine with me if we draw the line at 18. I wasn't a celeb regular before becoming red. My sojourns into this forum were mostly spurred by post whoring in the chat thread. Now that I'm mod - and quite often the only one around for hours - I'm compelled to come in here and see what's going on.

I will defer to the others when it comes to drawing up any further rules or mandates for this forum.

Phun has been running good for almost ten years, why rock the boat now? 16 is the age for celebs, 18 for "adult" material. Where are you going to draw the line that wont kill Phun AND can be easily enforced? A pic of any celeb in a crowd would be impossible to verify every ones age. In my opinion, as long as the person UNDER 16 is not mentioned in the title or description and is NOT sexually suggestive, it should be OK. Seriously, where do you draw the line? Do pics of that little girl inspire thoughts of sexuality in you? Is that little girl featured on a reality TV show? I never said no one under 16, just the subject of the post. Again, big difference between a 3 year old toddler and a 15 year old hottie.

 

just make it everyone in the picture has to be either under 10 (or any other set age) or 16+ then it's cut and dry. in the case of these sisters they're going to be clingy for awhile so whether the age is 16,17,18 or 21 a lot of the time you'll have the younger one lurking in the pictures so changing the age results in the same issues down the road, it just delays the problem. if there's a less than or older than limit with no gray area then people know no kylie, period, and can edit her out of photos with the two of them together.

 

Kendall is quite the hottie! (so is Kylie)

 

Or just don't post any more of Kendall, no issue.

 

I think we are making this more complicated than it needs to be. The age rule we have now works fine in about 99% of the cases.
I mean, other than the Jenners I can't think of any other "problematic" case right now.

So it's simple. Keep it as it is right now, which is fine to have them both together in a few pictures if they are fully clothed but don't post if the -16 one is in the pic showing bikini style skin or is in sexualy suggestive poses.

Enforcing a full 18+ rule in the celeb board is imo unnecessary.
But what do I know. I'm still 20, you old wise men with your white beards may know better

There is no issue now. Rules say 16+ is fine

I think I have to agree with Josh on this one but I'm not a mod and I'm VERY sympathetic with the view of no 'sexy' stuff on sub-16 year olds. Having said that, it's my opinion and worth about as much as the electrons required to post it.

 

Hmm I don't remember any Elle comments but you are right about Stella Hudgens. I had forgotten about her.

 

Like others have said, this is just my opinion, but for what it's worth:
a) I'm for 18+ as the focus of the pics. The whole Hell Bus concept is a little creepy, esp. when it becomes a repeating theme of the pics on the site. I think it started as a "I'm going to hell for finding women 1/2 my age attractive." No issue with that. It has kind of morphed to "I'm going to hell for wanting to sodomize underage females". IMO, that's not a theme that this site (or any other) should encourage.

2) I'm for no pics of under 16, whether they're with an 18 year old or not.

d) I'm for warning and then banning those who post inappropriate comments. Commenting on the sexuality or attractiveness of a 14-15 year-old, who happens to be in the same pic as someone who's over 16 is far worse than posting the picture. Sure, some people don't know everyone's age. After a few times though, it's pretty clear they know the age, they just don't know any better.

also) For the most part, I love this site. I think the all the mods, most of the contributors, and a good majority of the participants are fantastic. I'm sure the powers that be will continue to make good decisions. Just pulling down pics / posts that border on inappropriate is fine with me. It doesn't have to be a democracy. If posters use common sense and mods clean up the occasional questionable post, everything will remain just fine.
