    Yeah, I was just wondering that in another thread. They are just posting celeb pics online, just like we all do, yet celebs love them. If I posted a leaked nude pic on my site, I'd probably be sued. These guys have the same celebs coming to their birthday.

    The difference is that people read those blogs. Lots of people. The reason celebs attend events like this is manyfold: (1) They don't want to appear as poor sports if they've been "exposed" or negatively treated by said blogger; (2) They are appreciative of the people who run these blogs because without them these socialites simply would not be as famous...or famous at all, in many cases. Imagine if there were no internet tabloids; would any of us know who Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are?
