Yup, caused a major shitstorm when it was found out. She had perfect fake id.

 

I had a few of her movies back in the day, she was pretty loud.

 

Raped at 10, ran away from her abusive alcoholic father in Ohio at 12 and made her way to her mother in California where she lived with her mom and 3 sisters and her mom's live-in boyfriend who was a cocaine dealer and who subsequently molested her. Life has NOT been easy for this woman and I think it's sort of a testament to her that she survived it all and came out the other side seemingly pretty good. She looks GREAT to me and I'd love to buy her dinner and chat, I suspect she's a pretty awesome person irl. Much respect.

The only thing I have an issue with is how she sort of threw the porn industry under the bus in her autobiography, I mean granted it's an industry that 'uses' people but a LOT of people that worked with her on those porn films have stated quite clearly that she was well aware of what was going on and was an enthusiastic participant. I suspect that was done to rehabilitate herself so she could go mainstream, however.

yep, there are out-takes of her from some of the films where she is clearly lucid and joking about with the crew and her co-stars.

 

She was the Penthouse centerfold in the famous Vanessa Williams issue. She was probably 14 at the time.

 

It was 1984 which would have made Traci ~16 at the time... naughty naughty Bob.

Hmmm... checking it on ebay, Traci is NOT listed as being in that issue... :hmmm:



EDIT: AH, on further review... there's ANOTHER Vanessa Williams issue in 1985 (Vanessa and George Burns on the cover... 15th anniversary issue) and Traci IS listed in that one so she would have been ~17.

 

Not to discount her misfortune before porn or her strong sense of self determination after she left it but unless she was the Meryl Streep of porn actresses she seemed to by and large be enjoying herself quite a lot in most of her scenes.. I would argue that she could have made a very good living as a softcore model or fetish model with the body and face she had at the time but chose to enter hardcore porn. JMO.
