    I order the tires thru the internet at a cost of about $260 then pay about $175 to have them mounted, balanced, etc. Will also replace the brake pads this time and have the front brake lines blown out as I have trapped air in them at present....All together, will run about $600.

    Ok, the brake pads costs ...

    Just for info ... i`m having my tires cared for at a cost of SEK 650:- a year (about US 100.-)
    That´s includes changing from winter to summer tires.

    ... hm, next year i have to buy new summer tires ... gonna cost me about SEK 5000:- ( US 850.-) :(

    Motorcycle tires cost more than auto tires....plus here, mounting is included in the cost of the auto tires...sometimes they charge a small amount to balance the tires. Much more labor in pulling and replacing bike wheels/tires....that is part of the reason for the difference in price. Also, I only get 12 to 14 thousand miles on a set of bike tires whereas I get over 40 thousand miles on my auto tires. Biking is not cheap! I believe what you save on gas you spend on tires...:rofl:
