And when has this ever made a difference? Half the chicks posted on this forum have no talent or anything except their looks to warrant a reason to be considered a celeb. A matter of fact I see women equally as hot if not hotter daily. At least Jojo can kind of sing I guess. I guess you call that her talent... Apparently kids are buying her music, and that's much more then we can say about the Kardashians.

 

Yeah, the Kardashians ONLY have a TV show (quality notwithstanding obv.), several 'successful' clothing lines and stores, perfumes, shitloads of endorsements and various other 'brand' type businesses, Kim receives $10,000 for every product she mentions in a twitter tweet. Estimates place the entire Klan's earnings in the $20-$50 million dollar per year range, JoJo (as of the last Forbes published estimate) somewhere in the $1 million dollar per year range so, relatively speaking the Kardashians ARE doing quite a bit better.
I really don't know why I'm arguing this, I really could give a fig about the Kardashians other than I like to look at some of them scantily clad and I have nothing against JoJo and I like to look at her scantily clad. It just strikes me as odd that she's considered by some to be somehow more legitimate than the Kardashians or Hiltons even... :hmmm:

I wish she would do some sexy photoshoots. These shit quality cell phone pics are nice, but imagine her in an outfit like that, photographed by someone who knows what they're doing.

I never said JoJo was more successful or even more popular than Kim Kardashian. Kim being famous is pathetic, though. She's a no-talent hack who only got famous for, well, yeah, sucking dick and being a whore. Not saying there's anything wrong with that (I'm all for celebrities doing that!), but JoJo actually has talent. Her music, back in the day, was for kids/teens, which is probably why a lot of people on here don't think she has talent, but she has a strong voice. Her new work is more adult. She's not like one of those Disney Teen Machine kids that try to sing, but can't at all. JoJo was, first and foremost, a singer. She tried acting and bombed, but she has always been able to sing. To basically say that all she's good for is taking hot pictures on Twitter is ridiculous.

 

Pretty much done whipping this dead horse but if you actually think that she has even a modicum more talent as a singer than say, Miley Cyrus then we'll just have to agree to disagree. Let's look back in 5 years and I predict JoJo will have gone the same way as Tiffany from the 80s and be doing whatever crap SyFy d-grade movies/projects she can to make ends meet, meanwhile Kim K. and her Klan will be laughing all the way to the bank with a global brand continued by the next-gen of the Klan.

 

You comparing JoJo to Kim and Miley shows me you have absolutely no idea what JoJo is or was about. I mean, have you never heard her sing? I'm assuming not since you compared her to MILEY FUCKING CYRUS! Child please. I'm done with this, as well.

 

Not for nothing but YOU compared her to the other Rat children, that includes Miley who, like her or not, is obviously a MUCH bigger musical act than JoJo... not comparing the quality at all (I still say that JoJo is mediocre at best, however). As far as 'what JoJo is about', she's about the same thing that all singers/actors/celebs are about... putting asses in the seats in order to make money, my argument is based on this and JoJo simply doesn't. Sorry if it offends you but facts are facts. Anyhow...

I just brought up Disney Teen Machine because I was under the impression you thought she was like one of them - someone young just thrown into a studio to make an album, despite not being able to sing a lick. I was just saying she wasn't like that... at all. Miley is the bigger act, no doubt about it (life isn't fair sometimes), but it doesn't mean she's better - which I'm assuming you agree with based on your comparing quality comment. This was never about if JoJo is a big star or not. She's not as big as she used to be, but I credit a lot of that to her growing up and stepping away for a few years. I don't think she'll ever be producing #1 hit after #1 hit, but she definitely has a great voice. That's all I was saying.

I see where you're coming from and I think you get my point too. I just happen to think that Miley and JoJo are equally shitty as far as 'musical talent' goes they are just a different style of shitty, all I was saying is that you can't argue with results. Miley is monumentally sucessful (granted a lot of that is leftover from the Disney push she got early on) but she STILL sells tons of albums and singles and sells out concerts in her bubblegum pop genre whereas I doubt JoJo could sell out an R&B club for more than a night or two and, as I pointed out earlier, even R&B fans don't seem to think her 'new' stuff is good because she hasn't charted higher than 87 in the last 5 years (from wiki so take it for what it's worth). Maybe we should just agree that neither one of them is Janice Joplin and let it go at that...

 

jojo has made some bad decisions career wise. she turned down the hannah montana role, obviously we know most of the miley fame came from that show. jojo was stuck waiting on her record to come out but the studio she was with never did much for her, just wasited to be relased from her contract so she can sing again. obviously the choice in her music career and who managed her has left her stuck. obviously she can sing, not great but so so, not sure maybe she needs to make better choices in songs and who promotes her, instead of sticking to r&b or what ever style of music she sings she should of tried to get herself more publicity and obviously a few photoshoots in magazines andything to get her name and recognition out there, a tv show something. the more publicity the more people see her and hey, if people don't like her singing maybe because they see a hot girl out then sure main reason to go to sher show is to chekc her out because she is an attractive young lady, main reason we come on here is because we love her pictures she keeps sharing with us, but literally she needs to just make better choices, more photoshoots, a tv show, a movie, or show up and more events and choose better songs. fire who ever is representing her. she has a good voice not the greatest, but the same goes for miley or taylor. they have a few good songs but have alot more fan base thanks to the shows they where on.

 

I wish some kind soul would hack JoJo's cell phone and emails.
