I finished watching Heroes

I'm halfway through Season 3 of Heroes right now.

The final battle between Peter and Samuel was awful.

However the final scene (I think it was the final scene anyway) with Claire revealing herself to the world, it would've had a lot of promise for a potential 5th season. Cause remember all those 'dark futures' we saw when the world knew of people with abilities? They could've actually done something like that, and it'd actually be happening instead of a 'possible future'. It had a lot of potential. I wish they could've done that.

Season One: Hiro and Ando travel 5 years in the future where Sylar is accused of nuking New York City killing millions and the world now knows people have abilities. With Nathan as President, the government is now targeting, capturing, and putting in camps anyone with abilities.

Season Three: Peter and Future Peter travel 4 years in the future where people everywhere now have abilities due to the formula being released which then leads to ultimate destruction, like how we saw Tokyo being destroyed in the first episode when Hiro traveled to the future


so doing a story in the same vein as that for an entire season could've been really cool if done right
