My dad had a triple bypass 20 years ago and it's still good as new. His cardiologist is in awe because they don't generally last that long.

It will be ten years for me the end of this year....I am hoping that diet and meds will keep me from having to go thru that again.......or worse. :shock:

 

My eyes are suffering. Can only wear my reading glasses for 30 minutes or so before I need to rest them. :?

The only truely accurate means of doing so is the procedure where then run a tube up your leg artery and release dye that they can image....can't recall the name of that process right now, but it in itself is rather major and very expensive. The only monitoring now is every three months I have blood tests done to monitor the various levels of HCL and LDL, and all the rest of the alphabet soup....I have better blood rating now than I did when I was 25.....The first sign of any chest discomfort, that first procedure would be done after a trip to the emergency room.

 

The last year i have been doing all the possible tests.
I am healthy as a 30 year old one, but with a fever problem.
My blood-kg was a bit slow, so they did put me on Warfarin.

So, it sounds like they are not sure if there is a blood clot in your kidney.

 

She gives blood every week too. That's the way it will be until she passes on.

I'm reasonably okay. Allergies are killing me.

My mom had a procedure last year where the ran an endoscope down her throat and took x-ray video of her heart. It was very cool. They took imaging from 8 different angles of the four individual chambers. I requested copies of the videos but the doc wouldn't make copies for me.

 

I hope they learn more Magge. And I hope the Warfarin works.
