    Smell is about 80% of taste, so, yep. That is why I changed my cooking seasoning to almost only hot peppers...it is the only thing I can taste or feel rather. :lol:

    I can smell Clorox, ammonia, gasoline....strong smelling stuff like that, but the lesser odors I can't.....sometimes I can detect "an odor," but have no idea what it is.

    I left my nose in a pocket of a pair of pants when I washed them..........:rofl:

    No, I just got a bad cold in about 1995 and when it was over, my sense of smell did not fully return..:dunno:

    I have had sinus problems since my very early teens.....and have constantly used nasal sprays since then....throw in smoking and I think that has much more to do with it than the cold.....the cold may have been the final straw so to speak....I would not worry if I were you. ;)
