    What's up with all the hate on JoJo's music? She steps away from the music scene for a few years to grow up, mature, and shed her teen image, and everyone's ready to write her off just because she's put out one single in the past six years (good song, too). I find it funny because she can actually sing, yet gets no respect.

    No disrespect Ram but girls like her are eye candy! Why should she get respect? If she sells 10s of millions of records all over the world for a couple of decades then yes she deserves respect but untill then she's just another half decent looking girl that shows some skin to get publicity .. :beerchug:

    I'm not talking about albums sold. I'm talking about her voice. So many "singers" out there get no respect and rightfully so because they can't sing, but then you see someone like JoJo, who can actually sing, getting the same flack. Just seems she deserves a little more respect in that sense.

    It's not that she doesn't get respect for her voice. She does. It's just people in this and other celebrity forums never seem to give her any props for her voice and instead act like she's on the same level as Miley Cyrus or some other terrible "singer." But anyway, I'm don't want to turn this thread into some big debate, so I'll leave it at that.

    Oh, and BTW, I know everyone's entitled to their own opinions, so if you're not a JoJo fan, that's fine. I just wish people in celebrity forums would stop pretending like she's got zero singing talent.
