    There were a few people missing at work because of the holiday. I had to do a 2-man area all alone -- and it was a heavy area. I thought "WTF - go for it" and sped through it, all the while feeling like hell. Today I feel great, because I didn't wake up dead! :lol: PLUS, I have tonight off! :D

    My area had no thunderstorms today, so there was no heat relief....I was working in it and did not check on line to see just what our temp and heat index was about 3 PM today...our current dew point is 69F.

    Virtually all stores are open....she asked to work today as it is the equivalent of 2.5 time...not bad from 9AM to 7PM.....that is a $300 day for part-time.

    A dew point of 69 is low for here......that is why no thunderstorms.....when we get up to a dew point of 74, we pretty much know that thunderstorms are highly probable.
