    I looked into it as much as I could and it seems to happen from time to time. I can't recall how long this has been affecting my machine. I almost want to say that it happened within the first year, but that I really didn't pay close enough attention. I really noticed some poor performance recently, so I took a closer look and after running maintenance with persisting problems, confirmed that there was only half the RAM that there was supposed to be. I am not sure if there is a way to "turn on" or off RAM slots on a Mac. I didn't see anything about it on the macforums. So, doubling the RAM in one slot should suffice.

    Is there some other nature phenomenon, other then the ocean, that maintains the humidity so high? Are you surrounded by water on both sides? Even though you are not close to water.

    Probably not......summer pop up thunderstorms here in Florida do not move much....if I am lucky, they may grow in my direction, either enough to get rain or at least some cooling winds. We have not had rain now for 9 days....since Debbie cleared out very early last week. :?
