Got a few things to do before the race starts....back in about 15 minutes.....

Probably got between 1 and 2 tenths of an inch today....in 5 minutes. It was looking good as a large thunderstorm was headed right for me, but it split before it got here with the gap going over me, so I just got fringe rain. Maybe tomorrow will be a better afternoon rain day for me. Planning on a yard edging and mowing day tomorrow morning.

 

I think I have everything I need to start pressure washing my house, so am planning on starting that Monday morning....I will take my time and this may take a week to finish everything.

 

Blaze is limping suddenly. One of her front legs. Damn.

 

Did you check her paw thoroughly?

 

I've done two thorough checks so far, on each leg, and I can't get her to tell me the spot. I'll keep examining her throughout the night, and I'll massage the area too. I checked the paws, and she's not whining, no matter where I touch her.

 

I also massaged the shoulder area, top, side and bottom.

 

I guess that is about all you can do at this point.......hope it is just minor things that goes away....

It wasn't there earlier today (that I detected -- I could have missed it if it was just beginning), so maybe I can massage it out of her.

 

I have aches and pains that come a go.....have been known to limp a bit when my right ankle gets a twitch in it.....so maybe it will pass.....hope so.

 

I think I found it. It's in the joint where the right leg connects to the body.

 

That would be the shoulder........

 

I had to dig inside to get her to respond, so it's right in the joint. I think it's just arthritis from old age.

 

How much does she weigh?

 

About 48 pounds.

 

You may want to consider, unless you know of a reason why not, giving her one adult aspirin....aspirin and Aleve are very good for reducing inflammation as well as pain reduction. That is what I would do....at least for a few days....one every 8 hours should be OK.

 

I'm going to vacuum for a couple minutes and chase her around with it. That will get her stretching her shoulder.
