I think you're right. The only way to survive those temps with the humidity is to be born into it, so that's all your body knows.

 

I have always been amazed who quickly the older Northerners adapt to our heat and loose they tolerance for cold weather. Within two years of that move they bitch like hell when the temp goes below 70.

My previous boss was from Mass. and NH area......even when the mornings were 70 he would wear a light jacket to work.... And when it went below 50 he was miserable with down coats on....go figure.

 

Wife wants to do the dog walking now, so I am out for 30+ minutes...:?

I hear the mosquito spray truck outside.......

 

Really?

 

The mosquito population exploded about 4 days after Debbie went thru.....this is the first time I have heard the spray truck....they spray as last resort as they concentrate on elimination of breeding sites which is more effective.

 

So it's a Florida thing!

 

I don't want to, but I think I'm going to put broccoli in an omelet tonight for good health and vitamins.

 

It is a swamp thing....flat land thing....all Gulf coast states have mosquito issues as well as Atlantic coast at least up to VA. I know a bit about mosquito control here as it was within the Public Works Department during the 12 years I was director.

 

I would make a regular omelet and steam the broccoli separate, then serve with melted cheese over it.

 

It's actually frozen broccoli with cheese. I'm going to nuke a bowl of it and pour it in the omelet at the last minute. Same idea -- nice and cheesy.

 

I'm going to begin omelet assembly, but I'll be back and forth to the computer while I'm cooking.
