    Merlin, too bad you can't put some gambushia in your creek....they are mosquito larva eating fish...only about an inch to 2 inches long.....given the chance, they will eat their weight daily in mosquito larva....we use them all the time to control mosquitoes in permanent or semi-permanent water bodies.

    We had an outdoor shower at my Uncle's place on the Delaware Bay. I thought many times I would install one here but it always seemed like too much hassle.

    Easier said than done. The old creek used to drain from a nearby swamp until the road was constructed. With our rainfall amount up this year, the water has nowhere to go as it ends in a field. Approx. distance is about 2 miles.
