    Her license was pulled 2 weeks ago. She has 2 hit and run trials pending starting 9/27/12 for which she can do a year on each charge. The cops did not run her record last night b/c they did not want to arrest her again. They probably called it in to superiors who did not want to be in front of cameras themselves and said let her go.

    This is just a career-boosting PR ploy, now known as the "Lohan-Hilton maneuver:" get ticketed/arrested several times in a short period, at least one of which will result in camera time in and outside of a courtroom, where sexy attire can be worn. Hey, any publicity is good publicity, right? Even if she goes to jail, it will only be for a few hours, right? And the tabloids will eat it up.
