I'm going to make dinner while chatting and watching the game.

 

It be about dog walking time for me, so I am going to go ahead and take my leave and start preparing....wife should be home any minute....and I should be back in 30 to 45 minutes as I plan to make a sandwich, since I am hungry, after the walking to eat at the keyboard.

Late getting back because the wife was late and we took the dogs on a longer than usual walk since they have been cooped up with the rains, etc.

 

Did the dogs (and the humans) like the longer walk?

 

It was nice...between 1.5 and 1.75 miles......

 

That's a pretty good distance for a nighttime walk.

 

We walked all the streets in our 52 lot subdivision.

We stay in the neighborhood as there are no sidewalk, but the 28' wide streets give us plenty of room in case we meet other walkers, with or without dogs. The bordering public roadway only has a 5' sidewalk and is a 5-lane arterial. Too hard to deal with "others" on the sidewalk. My wife could not handle Amelie. So we chose the easier and safer means by just staying in the neighborhood.

I didn't say anything earlier, because I was too pissed, but I went to a "free clinic" today to have them look at the lump above my belly button/top-of-incision area. I have an incisional hernia -- part of the abdomen wall is weak and causing a lump to stick out a little.
