    I think they hyped the start time to make sure everyone did what they had to do and got home safely before it started.

    this morning they were saying that the weather could effect the Jets game by halftime. now they say midnight? no way they can miss by that much! especially since this morning they were saying how slow the storm was moving ...

    I think the storm itself has a lot to do with that tbone. This storm is very unique. I have heard the hurricane trackers say how surprised they are that the predictions have been so dead on so far. The problem is that there isnt much cross referencing that can be done. I keep hearing "once in a lifetime storm".

    I don't mind rain or wind or even losing electricity.

    I just hope no one gets hurts and no one loses their home, car, etc. (that seems like pie in the sky at this point though)

    :( if you lose electricity this early it REALLY sucks because they've already said they won't send out repair crews until its safe - and the storm won't budge it will hang around forever.
