    I had a Buck stove inserted into my fireplace.....and I burn wood....have plenty at present from my June tree trimming.

    I also have two natural gas fired furnaces....one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. It cost money to run them, so I use my little buck stove as much as I can as I see it as not requiring $ to operate, just a little labor.

    The little wood stove helps to take the chill off the house unless the outside temps go below freezing....
