what is your coffee of choice Thore?

I have been having Emerils Big Easy Bold coffee. so deadly.

 

damn, still double posting.

 

Whoa! That'll keep ya on your toes for a while.

I really need to go get Dr. Pepper. Been out all day, just don't feel right without it.

 

I use a brand called 8 O'Clock.....according to Consumer's Union, it contains 2.3 times the caffeine that either Maxwell House or Folgers, plus I make it double strength. I add a non sugar sweetner and half & half to it....sometimes with a dash of sugar free chocolate syrup.

 

any plans for tonight scribe?

I am on the wagon, I quit drinking so only coffee here tonight.

I like diet Dr. Pepper and diet Mountain Dew......and of course diet root beer...don't really care for diet Coke or Pepsi....I grew up drinking RC Cola ....

Also, when I was a kid, nehi grape soda was to die for.......now I just prefer grape juice (not fermented).

I had a chance to drink tonight, my Cousin was asking if I wanted to have a few with him. i told him I quit drinking and just wanted to relax tonight, he understood.

 

It's okay I guess. I haven't really done a whole lot since moving here.

 

how long have you been there now scribe?

 

The coffee is expensive to me....about $7 for a 3/4 pound bag, but several times a year an area grocery chain (Publix) has it on a special......2 for the price of one. They typically limit me to ten bags, but I have three stores within 3 miles of my house, so I hit all three....twice .....I use about a bag every 5 days, so it saves me almost $200 a year..

And walking away from tobacco and alcohol has saved me between 3 and 4 thousand a year. :shock: after taxes savings, which means it saved me almost $5K of salary. :shock: :shock:
