Say what you want about it being a kid's show, but they survived the dreaded 60-shows-and-out tradition. Not even Victorious, which is like the network's highest rated show right now, can say that.

iCarly is actually a really funny show. I may have started watching it to placate kids, but I kept going back because it made me laugh.

Of course, then Jennette started getting a banging body...

Does Sam finally get what's coming to her in this one? Hot and well played by Jennette McCurdy she may be, but her inability to ever lose anything even when she deserves to (which is a lot) really gets on my nerves...

iCarly really set a high bar for all the new batch of bullshit teen comedy shows. They all seem to have hot chicks, and all employ writers that are somewhat funny. Every try to watch any of the old Nickelodeon shows, like The Amanda Show (with a really young Amanda Bynes)? Way too hard to watch. Even if my kids want to watch those, I say no for fear of killing myself.

 

The Amanda Show was terrible, much like Schneider's other attempt at teen sketch comedy, All That. His regular shows like Drake & Josh and iCarly and Victorious are much better, though you still need to take into account the fact that they're aimed primarily at 12 year-old sensibilities and senses of humor where jokes about farts and other bodily functions are still high comedy.

 

Good Riddance.

 

The Amanda show was horrible but without it, there wouldn't have been Drake and Josh. That gave us Miranda and ultimately iCarly. And that gave us Sam and Cat so :thumbs: to Dan S. and his loyalty and abilty to see kid stars. And don't forget about What I like About You w/ Amanda.

 

Check out that first pic, guys! Miranda's thighs are actually looking as thick as Jennette's, and her hips and waist are similar too! If only she had Jennette's big round ass! Hopefully we'll get to see both actresses get more risque roles now that iCarly is off the air. They're both of age and have sexy tight bodies, it would be a shame if they never showed them.
