Yes Sir....may start some yard work tomorrow if the weather cooperates.....time to trim the crape myrtles now and I have a bunch.

 

So I guess you are feeling better. Are you 100% or at least your definition of 100%?

 

Cloudy with occasional sun today here....now 60F/16C as darkness descends....

 

I guess so ...... still having to get used to not being able to do what I use to do as a younger man.....

 

Listening to everything you do on a day to day basis, I can't imagine how productive you were as a young buck.

Well, I was raised by honest, hard working parents with little money, so we had to build, fix, maintain, etc. just about everything we had. 12 hours of hard labor was not unusual.....never had time or was too worn out to get into trouble...... as a result, I have full respect for all people that work hard and pay their own way and don't look for government handouts, etc. I guess I continue to have that stubborn pride today, though I have learned to keep it to myself most of the time to avoid verbal confrontations with some people.

 

Im allergic to hard work. I break out in sweats and get all glassy eyed, not to mention short of breath. It's not a pretty sight.

 

..... Well, I have decided that I really don't want a job again. I will get one if I really have to, but I am going to try to get by on my retirement and social security. As my two sons begin to make it on their own, my $ should get better too.

 

I hope you don't have to go back to work my friend. You have earned your rest. Not that you rest much
