Over here at Schiphol there were 32 flights cancelled

This will bring accumulations of 2-5 cm snow to some areas, and perhaps in excess of 8 cm towards coastal counties of southeast and eastern England."

Tuesday and Wednesday we will have another cool spell....lows close to freezing.

 

My knee was popping and swollen all day yesterday, too, but it got a little better by the end of the day. Just need to rest my legs another day.

I guess you saw where the original "Batmobile" used on the TV series sold for 4.2 million yesterday. :shock:

There are definitely some people with much more money than brains........which does not mean they are stupid, just very fucking rich!

 

I love the Batmobile! In Detroit, growing up, we'd always see concept cars and stuff here. I saw the story - glad it's staying in the U.S.!

 

They say the bidding got pretty hot and heavy at the auction!

 

One of the two Dussies went for either 1.2 or 1.4 mil....

 

What's the "retail price" of a NASCAR car?

 

Rick Hendricks paid one mil for the first 2014 Corvette off the line.....they said he has a huge Corvette collection.

I was amazed at the prices all of the old muscle cars were getting.....well over $100K.

 

I have never heard it said.....probably varies from team to team, but I would imagine it approaches half a mil.....maybe.

 

The old muscle cars are getting really popular in the collectors' world. Maybe because of those "Fast and Furious" movies.

 

They are nice to look at and remenber back to our younger days went we longed for one, but I really have no use for any of those cars at the auction. If you gave one to me, I would sell it a quickly as possible.
