And argument over valet service? Really? What, did someone want their car five seconds before the other guy? Some drug dealers visiting Vegas to throw down - and didn't like the look the other guy gave 'em after they lost their cash to Probability?


And this is why I think visiting aliens would either never show their faces...

It shouldn't happen. Propane is lighter than air so it should blow straight up and away from the vehicle. Something else was at play no doubt.

It wasn't about the valet service, first come, first served is how it works in Vegas. It's likely the altercation began at the nightclub in Aria.

What I found interesting is that both the Range Rover and the Maser had temporary tags. How much you want to bet they both came from the same upscale dealership and that the people in both vehicles knew each other prior to what happened? And I bet you dollars to donuts they came from L.A.

 

Vegas invites that type of attitude, throw in a little money and alcohol and its really a wonder more shit like this doesn't happen, but I suppose seeing a cop every 20 feet can be a good deterrent.

I often wonder "what if"..

My biggest being that I wonder how the state of rap/hip hop would be had he remained in the game. I cant listen to any current rap, with the exception of Scarface. The realest in the business right now.

True. So many throughout the years. The good really do die young.

 

You can say that about any of the legends that died too soon. What if Jimi, what if SRV, what if Zappa, the best thing to do is just enjoy their body of work, because honestly, there would probably be no difference in the way music progressed. There were many other great artists that did managed to keep making music, and music still changed, it's outside factors that have nothing to do with the musicians, that most drastically effect the way music evolves. At least that's how I see it. There is good music, you just have to look a little bit now, and hell, its probably easier than ever to find good music, it just isn't whats necessarily the most popular.

 

I agree with most of this. It was different with 2pac, and rap in general. 2pac had the ability to spark a change, as well as influence the direction. Rock n rollers don't battle each other in their music. It's just very different.

 

But you can never predict what direction an artist is going to take, and if they suddenly decide to go off the grid then their continuing influence becomes debatable.

 

Well, I dont think he decided but of course I know what you mean.

 

You may underestimate the influence Jimi Hendrix had. Most point to him as fundamentally changing rock music, yet some of the best music came long after he was gone. Regardless of feuds between rappers, 2pacs influence lived on, its peoples taste that changed, and what record companies decided to push. Music will come back around though, look at all the boy bands that made up popular music before the Beatles broke out, all cookie cutter no risk music, but it changed. Good music is always there, I really feel the most important factor in good music is honesty, if the musician feels passionate about their music you can tell and it separates it from what most popular music is today, but their are honest musicians, just have to look for them. Youtube is a godsend, I don't know how I would discover new music if all I had was the radio.

Great post supe! If im being honest, I dont even look for new music. 99% of the music I listen to is 10 yrs+ old. I guess I just got really bummed out over music. It used to be such a big part of my life and its not anymore. It bothers me at times. Ive lost my passion.
