Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     That doesn't make sense at all. St. Pat's is on Sunday the 17th, so why not do the parade on Saturday the 16th?

    sorry if it doesn't work for you. that's they day they got based on when other surrounding towns have their parade. Maybe it jacks up commerce by bringing people in the week before?? I don't really don't know.

    Just like at Christmas. Around here all the communities start their parades in the first week of December. Never really made sense. Reckon they ALL want to have a big crowd w/out competing parades.

    makes sense. I know one town always has the parade on Mar 17th and things are pretty sparse when it falls on a week day ...

    I think it also allows for a rain date if needed?
