Looks like some rain tonight....hope it is substantial; however, the rivers 45 miles north of me are currently above flood stage from all the rain that has fallen in extreme northern Florida and southern Georgia, which is the rivers head water areas.

I see those out in northern Cali and western Nev all the time.

 

Found out yesterday that my youngest was "matched" with a residency; we will not know where until Friday. One possibility is in Michigan....we are hoping it was in Florida (Jacksonville, Tampa or Orlando). Only about half of senior class med students are matched initially as there are more students than there are openings. Earlier he traveled to several distant states for interviews as well as the three Florida Hospital cities listed.

 

Where in Michigan, Thore?

I don't remember, PM, but I think it is more towards the central to northern central portion of the state...it is not the Detroit area.

 

This time change still has me screwed up....:? It usually takes me about two weeks to get use to it.

 

I still have jet lag from it.
