The smoking gun for me is 1) for a while she was often seen with Drew Barrymore, self-avowed bisexual, as well as in two studio portrait shoots with the two of them kissing, suggestive of a relationship; more recently seen in the company of Cleo Duval, an out lesbian actress; 2) no long term public association with men, as boyfriends, 3) a lesbian publication chastised her in print for being so truthful and direct about other issues, but remaining in the closet to protect her own career (if a lesbian group is sure she is a lesbian, who am I to dispute that?). In other words, some evidence of her orientation.

RKS, do you have anything that suggests otherwise, other than your above assertion?

PS: I love lesbians (especially hot ones ). Also, EP is a way-above-average actress who I will watch in anything she does.

 

Well I saw two well known actors kissing in a gay cowboy movie and I don't think either of them were gay.

 

I have little investment in this issue, so the last comment I will make is that, unlike your example, the bits of evidence I cited for EP were not part of a fictitious movie. :2cent:

 

Until she comes out of the closet she not gay. Not that there is anything wrong with it.

I don't have any evidence, no, and frankly I don't care enough to try and hunt some down - if she's gay or bi that's fine, good for her. I am a fan of hers though, and know her to be a pretty honest and genuine person. She's stated she's straight and I believe her. She's also very smart and quite cynical, and has often addressed the 'supposed lesbian' issue by mocking it (the SNL skit) or by occasionally playing up to it to tease the media. As I said, I don't care either way, it's not exactly going to affect my chances with her, I just find it funny that as soon as a rumour starts about a female celebrity being gay, suddenly everyone's talking as though it's fact (in places like Phun, at least).
