    I think I know what you are talking about....and will try....the average finishing position of the first 4 segments of the race determines the starting position for the 5th and final segment. The TV network carrying the race, did a quick calculation that was incorrect.....they showed their graphic of the final segment starting position (cars) and Johnson was shown somewhere in the lower teens. His correct position was fourth....thus the conspiracy theory is born. Actually, I made a small error. The average set the position in the field to enter the pits for the mandatory stop that included a 4 tire change....Johnson's pit crew got him out second, so that is where he started the final segment. that is short, but do you get what I am trying to say?
