A usual night off: 3 in the morning and I'm the only one up.

No, been good now for the past 24+ hours. It was something wrong on the provider's end but they seemed to have got it sorted out.

 

That the reason I like to be up at 3 in the morning.

 

most providers here have their shit together. Its only mother nature that can screw things up a lot if she feels like it.

 

This incident was definitely out of character too. And there's not much nature can do short of an earthquake to interrupt buried communication lines.

 

I have to make a run to the corner market. brb...

Just some beer. Man, it's humid out there.

 

same story here. the reports speak of some thunder showers in the afternoon, but i doubt they will reach this far up North. I live next to a rather large lake here and if the weather systems isnt big enough they are pushed away by the lake.

That is a large body of water!

 

Lakes can create their own weather or have a big affect on it. Growing up next to Lake Michigan I learned all about that. Sometimes in a very unpleasany way.

That's a bigass lake!

 

If i rate it in Europe its top 10 i think. But not as big as the superior lake system in the states.

 

I live near the Great Lakes, in Michigan.

 

I just found this on Wikipedia: "Vänern (Swedish pronunciation: [?v??n??]) is the largest lake in Sweden, the largest lake in the European Union and the third-largest lake in Europe after Ladoga and Onega in Russia. It is located in the provinces of Västergötland, Dalsland, and Värmland in the southwest of the country."

 

5 650 Square kilometers i dont know how that fair with the grand lakes. It takes a day to go from the northern tip to the Southern tip with a sailing boat. And maybe 6-8 hours with a normal motor boat.

 

Lake Michigan is 58,000 square km.
