    No it's not, we're way below average for this time of year. However, Scottsdale/Mesa is ahead of the curve. These rain patterns are not atypical though. It's just the way the desert is. Averages are based on far reaching areas as opposed to specific regions within. Las Vegas was the same way. The valley would get 3 inches a year, the Spring Mountains to the west would get up to 40.

    I managed to get the yard mowed today......back yard was very wet, but no water standing above the soil, but impressions from my shoes would fill will water. 92F here but not so bad as the RH is about 54%.....the lowest it has been in weeks.

    There appears to be a significant low pressure centered on the upper peninsula which is pulling Canadian air around it and into you....
