    Well, thunder has been rumbling around now for several hours, but there was no major lightening or thunder associated with the rain. I figure a rain loaded tree limb must have dipped down and shorted out some overhead lines that feed my neighborhood as our lines are all underground. Probably took 30 minutes for the crews to be dispatched, locate the issue, remove the limb and reset the circuit.

    I have been busy hauling hay to the farm.. got a bit busy there for a while before the weather turned bad again. then I have had family people visiting so no time to be alone with the computer... :(

    My UPS worked well....was able to shut down without incident....mine is programed after 5 minutes to do so on its own if not manually over ridden.

    ugh, super busy day!

    month end. had to climb 15 tanks to dip them all. was SO much fun in the wind and rain! lol not.
