  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    That sucks. In the future do copy/paste before deleting from source. Would prevent something like this. I realize that is no consolation.

    Doesnt seem the files made it that far. It created the temp folder and crashed. The files got lost in limbo between the sd card and the hard drive.

    I was just trying to copy the folder to my HDD. I wasn't moving the original. Windows froze up so I canceled the process, nothing I haven't done before. I've copied thousands of files from a memory card to my hard drive without any kind of problem. This is a first.

    So you were copying not cut/pasting? Cant see why your files would have disappeared if you only copied them. The original files should have been unaffected.
