Just shows you how stupid the government is. They gave them tax-exempt religion status, at a time when most media outlets and news magazine shows were exposing them as a dangerous cult. Somebody high up got paid off.

 

The entire government is based on the higher ups being paid off. A VERY small group of people control the direction of this country and its not the government.

 

Religion can be a very volatile subject. Perhaps its best if we leave the religious debates for a section better suited for such. So many of you have opinions and thoughts and ideas, yet never create any topical threads. A shame, really. The CP forum is not the place for topics and statements that lead to heated debate.

In my long experience in here, religious debates gets shut down quick; usually by the christians in here.

Scientology has been responsible for the deaths of hundreds and the misery of thousands. The only reason it's tally isn't as high as others is that it is a new religion.

Scientology isn't a religion and is hurts so many on a daily basis.

Actually, I was eluding to this discussion being carried on in another section. Thank you for leading by example, with all your years of experience. Speaking of, I have never been a mod in all your years of experience. I assume thats who you are meaning when you say it gets shut down. Maybe that would make a difference, maybe not. I dont think there is a problem with me suggesting that members who have ideas and opinions get involved in other sections. Bottom line, as I already stated, this is not the section for debate....for the second time.

Lets not forget Scientology is not a religion its a cult. To meet someone with this kind of belief system would really frighten me.
