I find it quite funny how people here get their undies in a twist about Miley and her antics, like she is some lunatic that has gone of the edge.

This is Show business. This is what you have to do to catch attention in a competitive world. This is artistic expression, and Miley is quite aware about what she is doing. She is not some lunatic with a dope problem like so many of you wrote in another similar thread.

Miley is re-booting her musical career with a new manager, Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph, a new record company and her mother Trish (who also her personal manager) is by her side on every appearance, interview and photo-shoot.
Miley is taken good care of and is allowed to express herself and enabled to take her musical career into the future.

Be secure that every step is well thought out strategically beforehand. You don't get on stage on the VMAs and start to improvise, you plan and rehearse weeks beforehand.

The statement is from the MTV documentary, "Miley: The Movement", that follows Miley for a year up to the VMA. I am sure it is available somewhere.

I just hope she takes it even further and gives Gaga, Perry, Selina and all the other "bubblegum girls" some real competition.

In the end it is all about ability to create attention, having the best songs (and if you also is a good singer it is a bonus) that will bring you to the top of the list of the most famous artist in the world.

 

Lots of fluids have been lost due to Miley today.

Everything you just described is exactly what's wrong with the industry. Bottom line, sex sells and we'll do whatever it takes to get these stars to show as much skin and act as slutty as they can because money is the bottom line, regardless of talent. The pimp machine.
Knowing her mother is behind the scenes.. well she's as big a piece of trash as Dina Lohan then. Where is the artistry people are talking about? Can someone actually describe it instead of talking about, because all I see is a poor girl that has had so much shit put into her head, that she jumps at every opportunity to be raunchy and naked. Yep! Real art happening there.

If you want real artistry avoid pop music and demand that the music industry present the public with genuine, top notch talent. I stopped listening to pop music years ago and haven't missed it a bit. I only support exceptional musicians with my $$$.

ok while she is SMOKING hawt , and I totally love finaly seeing her basicly naked as a photographer I find myself offended these are like HORRIBLE candids and outtakes not finished product
what kind of photographer doesn't know how to prevent red eye or at least to remove it after the fact

Yes indeed. I think just basic darkening of the two first images is all that's needed to show her nipple clearly - messing with sharpness/color components can cause noise. Anyway we've had more than enough to to with these and of course the recent Wrecking Ball video. Many thanks to Miss Cyrus!
