Doing fine here.....got up rather early this morning and as a result, took a long nap having just gotten up and feed the dogs.

 

I see it is still cold up your way.....they are predicting 30F for Thursday morning here with rain Tuesday and Tuesday night.

 

It's still damn chilly out there. Too bad you have to see the 30s too.

 

If we get below freezing, it will make the rest of the leaves on my oak tree drop....which is a good thing to me as currently they are just trickling down. And a short dip down to only 30F should not be a major problem for the produce farmers in the area.

 

That's good!

 

I logged on here and fell asleep immediately.

Last night was a killer, and tonight we have a double truck.

Annnd, she just stepped in the water bowl and tipped it all over the kitchen floor.

 

I had to help out a friend today.....he is having rotten luck with his Harley....a full bagger Ultra Classic he bought from his father. About a month ago had to have major lower end work done due to a roller bearing on the oil pump decentagrated at a cost of about $1,500. Today, he was on his way to the panhandle for Thanksgiving with his mom and it started spewing oil out from around the air intake. He had it carried back to the Gainesville Harley dealership, which is closed on Mondays, and he needed a ride back to his condo. This is the friend this I hired in 1992 and for the past ten years or so has been working in Russia. He is currently waiting to hear if he has work back there and is also looking for work here. He is about 15 years younger than me.

 

For dog water, I use two 5-gallon plastic buckets; one outside and one inside in our laundry room. With 4 gallons of water in them, they to no tip over.

 

I remember you talking about your friend. It was nice of you to help him.

Now Leo and I have to eat, after a wet cleanup.

 

We are hoping that his current oil issue is a minor problem, like a blown gasket, seal or oil line.

 

We're back in from outside now. Cold but no wind now.

 

It is not cold here now, but is breezy.

 

Is that big storm the thing that's going to give you the cold air blast?

 

I guess....there is a front moving through late Wednesday afternoon or evening with Thursday clear and cold...we are cloudy until then with 90% chance of rain late tomorrow on.
