    This years christmas episode was awful.

    They need to ditch the daleks, cyber,em and so-on for a long time and start coming up with fresh baddies again.

    Let's be honest - the best bit of ANY DW episode in the last few years has been Pond. That said, yeah the Christmas episode was weak, especially coming on the heels of the far superior 50th anny episode. Hoping with Capaldi in, they get a little more creative than that, but if not, they need to keep Jenna here in short skirts. Because while she's no Pond, she's no Donna Noble either, and I'll keep watching until she at least leaves, probably after another season or so. DW doesn't seem to want to keep a cast the same for all that long these days.

    Donna Noble is the worst thing in all of time and space except maybe the fat, farting Slitheen lady in the first (2005) season. She is a fixed point of awful.

    But, yeah, I kind of agree with this. I didn't hate it, though it did feel weak in comparison to the 50th ep.

    The Christmas episode was terrible and Capaldi's reveal was terrible. Too much exposition, not enough structure, garbage designed to tug at heart strings but fail miserably.

    Indeed, that was the part I was waiting the whole episode for but it felt very anticlimactic. I think he'll be good though.

    I've watched the Christmas show a few times and come to these conclusions , it wasn't one of Steven Moffats better efforts , it had the feeling of being thrown together at the last moment , seeing my favorite ginger , Amelia Pond was a treat , the regeneration sequence could have been done a lot better , Jenna looked good as always but better than Pond , not sure yet, probably not fair judging them by my favorite , Rose Tyler.

    I loved the episode

    As for the changeover to Capaldi it was so much better than the drawn out over sentimental, self indulgent crap we had for Tennant to Smith.

    As for Catherine Tate, yes nice tits but so so annoying. What we really needed was more Sally Sparrow

    On the subject of these pics whoever the artist was on the last pic I didn't think it was possible to make Jenna look ugly but he managed it
