Agreed this time with you. Jennifer Lawrence is probably most overrated actress of our times. She's not even good looking, at least not for me.

Hollywood has always been like that though, whoever is selling tickets gets all the best roles until people get burned out on them, then they move to the next hot item. I personally love Jennifer, not so much for her looks or acting but for her personality. I hope she stays normal and I hope I get to meet her someday.

2 years ago it was Anne Hathaway who was seen, interviewed and photographed on every occasion possible. Also, Natalie Portman, kind of.
Before that, it was someone else, and about 4 years ago it was... I'm sure you get it.

However JLaw is a bit different than the others and once editors and bloggers decide to give her stories a different spin, someone else will surely be happy to pick up the torch.

 

I'm not into Jennifer's looks, but no denying her great talent as an actress.

 

I would love to see who you two thought were good actresses... I mean, Jennifer Lawrence is now up there with the best of them. I have seen 4 of her movies and she was amazing in all 4.

As far as looks, she is a great blend of cute and pretty. She has a nice body to boot. So I am confused on the "not good looking part" but like you said to each their own.

Lastly, she has one of the best personalities in all of Hollywood by a LONG SHOT, say what you will otherwise but the girl is funny and down to earth.

 

I love that when she's interviewed she has no inner filter. To me she seems like that pretty girl in the office who is a blast and if you play your cards just right.... I think that there are prettier girls like Ann Hathaway but the difference is I could see having a lot of fun with JL while at some point AH's pretentiousness would just hit critical mass. Of course for us this us all speculation, who knows what these girls are like in real life.

There will always be "it" girls. You're hot today and then you're gone unless you are very lucky. Remember when Britney wasn't a joke, when Prince could fart into a mike and it was a hit? When Jimmy Fallon looked like the next Adam Sandberg? Jennifer will keep being cast as long as her movies make money and get a lot of buzz. And Hollywood isn't going to "get over her" until then. I remember when Jenny McCarthy was the next big thing and when Pam Anderson was going to be the next "B" movie queen.
